378 acres of intensely managed hardwood forests and CRP located in Jefferson Township, Houston County. Located less than two miles from the Mississippi River. The area is extremely remote and wild. There have been sightings of bobcat, fisher, bear and cougars. The farm has been actively managed for large whitetails. The area offers numerous outdoor activities including; deer and turkey hunting, morel mushroom hunting, snowmobiling, trout fishing and bird watching.
Lodging consists of a fully renovated 1850's log cabin. The cabin consists of three levels. The walkout basement has infloor heating, a full bathroom, washer and dryer, and a poker table. The main floor consists of a living area and a complete kitchen. The sleeping area is on the third level. There are four single beds and dressers. The cabin is completely furnished. You need only bring food for your outing. Four person maximum.
